Hey, I'm David.
I was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1971, and was raised in Israel. I have lived in Frankfurt, Germany for the past two years.
I studied cinema and have worked as a photographer and photojournalist for over two decades – most prominently for Haaretz, Israel's daily paper of record, where I have been a staff photographer for 15 years.
My interests are diverse, ranging from portraits and food photography to hard news.
I enjoy meshing different aesthetics, combining news and artistic styles into my work to create unique – and at times eccentric – angles for everyday events.
